Shae & Eric’s Love Story

Shae and Eric met online during a challenging time in their lives. Both were going through separations, and Shae, with her three children, didn’t expect anyone to want to be with her. “I was going through one of the lowest times, well the lowest time, of my life,” Shae recalls. But fate had other plans. Eric, despite having no children of his own, was a source of immense support and understanding. They spent countless hours talking on the phone, forming a deep connection long before they met in person.

Over time, their relationship blossomed as they got to know each other better. Shae was cautious about introducing him to her family, but eventually felt confident enough to take that step. “He finally got to meet my kids a few months later, and we have been together ever since,” she says. Eric’s love and acceptance of Shae’s children cemented their bond, and they began building a future together.

In March of this year, Eric proposed to Shae at the Arenal volcano in Costa Rica. This proposal perfectly encapsulated their adventurous spirit and deep love for one another. Following their engagement, the idea of eloping to Las Vegas became a recurring topic of conversation. One day, they decided to turn that dream into reality, embracing the spontaneity and excitement of an intimate Vegas elopement.

1.5 hours of photography coverage by a RNR associate photographer
A modern wedding minister
Choice of a religious or non-religious wedding ceremony
Filing of the Las Vegas marriage certificate (witness included if needed)

Booking an elopement package is a great idea for couples who are not from Las Vegas and have no idea where to begin when planning a wedding. We handle all the details, so you don’t have to worry about a thing on your special day. Most couples come to us with an idea of what they want for their wedding, and we help bring it to life. Nobody wants to be stressed about booking vendors, creating a timeline, finding an officiant, etc. We do all the hard work for you.

Their Las Vegas Elopement

Shae and Eric’s decision to elope to Las Vegas was driven by their desire to focus on each other and the significance of their commitment. “We both want to enjoy the moment and time together, just us two,” Shae explains. Their elopement was a celebration of their journey, resilience, and unwavering love for each other. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and the promise of a beautiful future together.

The talented photographer behind this elopement was Carrie Pollard, who captured the romantic, fun, and playful moments throughout the entire day. Shae initially wanted to book photography with our owner, JamieY Photography. Since Jamie was not available for their preferred date, we booked one of our trusted associate photographers, and the photos were later edited with JamieY Presets. This is a great option for couples who aren’t able to align their schedules with JamieY Photography but still want to move forward with booking an associate photographer.

The hair and makeup artist was booked through Heads Will Roll Salon, and the florist was Amy Wong Events. Both vendors always do an amazing job with our clients. When booking an elopement package, we have our couples send us any inspiration photos they have for hair, makeup, and florals. We use these photos so our vendors can be prepared to bring the vision to life on their special day! On the day of the wedding, the hair and makeup artist meets you in your hotel room, and the florals are delivered to your hotel room to make things easy and stress-free.
