A Love Story Years in the Making: A Las Vegas Elopement

Some love stories begin instantly, while others grow slowly over time. They had seen each other around before, always noticing one another, always wondering what might happen if their paths crossed for real.

Thomas, a tattoo artist, unknowingly created the perfect opportunity. Fay booked an appointment with him for a tattoo, and through those sessions they began talking more, learning about each other, and building a connection that felt natural and effortless. What started as client and artist gradually turned into something deeper. It may have taken time for them to finally come together, but in many ways it felt inevitable.

Fast forward eleven years, and they’re still just as happy and content together as when their relationship first began.

In 2018, Thomas planned a proposal that was as meaningful as their story. While traveling in Gothenburg, France, he got down on one knee in front of the cathedral and asked her to marry him. The ring was something truly special — a pear-shaped black salt and pepper diamond that he had custom commissioned through her favorite jeweler. Thoughtful, unique, and perfectly suited to her style, it made the moment even more unforgettable.

Over the years of being engaged, they attended plenty of weddings for friends and family. Naturally, the question would always come up: When are you two going to tie the knot?

But for them, a traditional big wedding never felt quite right. Instead of planning a large celebration, they realized they wanted something more personal — something that felt like them.

That’s when they decided to elope & what better place to do it than Las Vegas?

They exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony at the iconic Little White Chapel, embracing the spontaneity and fun that Vegas is known for. After the ceremony, the newlyweds headed to Downtown Las Vegas for their couples portraits, surrounded by vintage neon lights, colorful streets, and the unmistakable energy of the city.

Their wedding day was exactly what they hoped for — simple, meaningful, and focused entirely on their love story.

After more than a decade together, their Las Vegas elopement wasn’t just a wedding. It was a celebration of a connection that had been growing for years, proving that sometimes the best things in life take time — and when the moment finally arrives, it’s worth the wait.
