If you’re considering a Las Vegas elopement, one of the first questions you’re probably asking is: how much does a Las Vegas elopement cost?
And the honest answer is: it depends.
You can technically get married in Vegas for a few hundred dollars if you’re keeping things extremely simple. On the other end of the spectrum, a fully planned elopement with professional photography, hair and makeup, flowers, an officiant, a unique location, and a few extras can easily run several thousand dollars.
For couples who want an actual experience rather than simply showing up, signing paperwork, and leaving, a realistic budget is often somewhere in the $2,500–$8,000 range, depending on what you include.
At Rock N Romance, our current elopement packages range from $3,500 to $6,350, with different options depending on how you want your Vegas wedding to look and feel.
So let’s break it down.
What Does a Las Vegas Elopement Usually Cost?
Vegas has always been known for giving couples options.
You can have a quick chapel ceremony for a relatively small amount, or you can build an entire wedding experience around your day. Traditional chapel ceremonies can range from roughly $100 to $1,000, while more comprehensive elopement packages can reach several thousand dollars.
The biggest difference isn’t necessarily where you get married. It’s what you want included.
A lower-cost elopement might include the ceremony and officiant, with everything else handled separately.
Once you start adding professional photography, hair and makeup, flowers, planning, permits, transportation, and a more unique location, the price naturally goes up.
And honestly? That’s not necessarily a bad thing.
If you’re traveling to Las Vegas specifically to get married, you may want more than a 15-minute ceremony and a handful of photos.
You may want the whole damn experience.
Our packages are designed to take care of many of the pieces couples actually need for an elopement — including things like planning, photography, hair and makeup, flowers, and an officiant, depending on the package you choose.

What Makes an Elopement More Expensive?
There are a few things that can move your budget up or down.
Location is one of the biggest factors. A simple ceremony at a chapel is going to have different costs than getting married somewhere that requires permits, travel, or private access.
Photography is another major consideration. Professional elopement photography can range from hundreds to several thousand dollars depending on coverage, location, and the photographer.
Then there are the details: hair and makeup, flowers, transportation, additional guests, extra photography time, champagne, dinner, lodging, and whatever else you decide to add.
And this is exactly why we like packages.
Instead of starting with a Pinterest board full of ideas and realizing you’ve accidentally created a 37-item wedding to-do list, you can start with a package and build from there.
Are Las Vegas Elopements Actually Cheaper Than Traditional Weddings?
Usually, yes — but that’s not the only reason couples choose them.
The average traditional wedding can cost tens of thousands of dollars, while elopements generally allow couples to put their money toward the parts of the day they actually care about. Current estimates put typical elopement spending around $2,500–$8,000, though there’s obviously a huge range depending on the experience.
Instead of paying for 150 meals, centerpieces for 15 tables, chair covers nobody remembers, and a venue you barely get to enjoy, you might put that money toward incredible photography, a killer location, an amazing outfit, or an unforgettable dinner.
It’s less about spending less just for the sake of spending less.
It’s about spending intentionally.
Your Vegas Elopement Doesn’t Have to Look Like Everyone Else’s
This is probably the biggest thing we want couples to know.
There isn’t one price for a Las Vegas elopement because there isn’t one way to have one.
Maybe you want something short and simple.
Maybe you want to get married in the desert.
Maybe you want killer photos and all the important details handled for you.
Maybe you want to get married inside a punk rock museum with champagne, cupcakes, and a mini reception.
That’s the beauty of Vegas.
You get to decide.
If you already have an idea of what you want — even if it’s weird, unconventional, spooky, punk rock, wildly romantic, or somewhere in between, let’s talk about it.
Your Vegas elopement doesn’t need to be traditional.
And honestly, we’d prefer it that way. 🤘💍
